MANGO TANGO...
Come summer and it's Mango Mania all around..
Brings back childhood memories of Lucknow when Dad and his friends used to purchase in big boxes and distribute. Chausa, Safeda, Fazli, Langra . Dussheri, however, stole the show; It was a big hit with us kids; humble yet wholesome ; mangoes before meals - mangoes after meals; kulfi, shake, juice, paapdi. Eating it was an art. Immerse in water for an hour, roll softly to loosen the pulp, make a hole on the top and start right away; a literal hand to mouth existence !
