BAMBINO HALWA..









RECIPE:

Ingr:

Bambino Vermicelli            1 1/2 cups
Sugar                                     1 cup
Hot water                               2 cups
Dry fruits/nuts of choice      1 tbsp
Cardamon  pd                        1/2 tsp
Ghee                                       1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan.
  2. Fry raisins, cashew to golden brown, remove & keep aside.
  3. Same ghee, fry bambino vermicelli to golden brown.
  4. Add hot water and let it cook covered on sim.
  5. When the vermicelli is cooked, add sugar and stir nicely.
  6. Sprinkle cardamom pd and mix well.
  7. Cook for some more time till the mixture is semi solid. 
  8. Remove from heat even when some liquid is still there. 
  9. Sprinkle dry fruits/nuts. Serve hot or cold.

Note: 
  1. For any sweet, sprinkling a tiny granule of salt enhances the flavour; here too I have done the same.
  2. For getting a beautiful colour & finish, add little saffron water.
