RECIPE:
Ingr :
Arbi 300 gm (4 servings)
Cornflour 3 tbsp
Rice flour 1 tbsp
Cumin pd 2 tsp
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Chilli pd 1 tsp
Coriander pd 1 tsp
Garam/Channa masala 2 tsp
Coriander leaves 2 sprigs
Lemon juice 1/2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep fry
Method:
- Boil arbi , peel and dice into circles and keep aside.
- Make a marinade of all ingr. except oil and coat the arbi slices thickly.
- Let them rest for a while ( half an hour).
- Deep fry in hot oil on medium flame to golden brown.
- Serve as a side dish at mealtimes or snacktime with ketchup/green chutney etc.
